The stars are shining brightly at Sportopia! On 14th December 2020, Sportopia witnessed the graceful presence of the star athlete of India- Ms. Dutee Chand. Needless to say, Ms. Dutee Chand has been blazing a trail for Indian athletics for a few years now. Current National Champion in the women’s 100-meter event, she is the third Indian woman who has qualified for the Women’s 100 meters event at the Summer Olympic Games. She was accompanied by Mr. Nagapuri Ramesh, the National Athletic Coach and Dronacharya Awardee who has been instrumental in shaping up several sprinters, most notably Ms. Dutee Chand.
It was a moment of great pride when Ms. Dutee Chand and Mr. Ramesh visited the Sportopia facility and expressed their amazement at the facilities present. Not only were they highly impressed with the facilities, but Ms. Dutee also highlighted the fact that she has not seen an astounding facility such as this anywhere in Hyderabad or even Telangana. Mr. Ramesh with vast experience in various sports facilities expressed that the athletic track at Sportopia is one of a kind and exceptional. Both were delighted to find a varied range of sports facilities under one roof. It was indeed a pleasure for Sportopia to have such sports icons visiting the facility and even more laudable to know that Ms. Dutee Chand will start training in Sportopia soon! The star-studded visit inspired the Sportopia team to gear up and be prepared to welcome many more icons of the sporting world!
