The Gaudium’s Kollur campus spans 27 acres of thoughtfully designed, sustainably built learning environment on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Every feature of the campus — from the science labs to the lotus ponds, from the robotics centre to the petting zoo — is a deliberate expression of the school’s belief that where children learn matters as much as what they learn.

The Gaudium’s Interactive Science Park brings informal science education into the open air. Working and static science exhibits are installed across the campus, making scientific principles visible, tangible, and engaging beyond the laboratory walls.

Students use the Science Park for hands-on investigation — handling real objects, solving real problems, and developing scientific curiosity in a setting that feels like exploration rather than instruction. The park operates in direct synergy with the sustainable campus: bird watching, star gazing, butterfly breeding, petting zoo interactions, and farming activities are all woven into the learning experience.

The Science Park hosts discussions and expert sessions on topics including food systems, nanotechnology, healthy ecosystems, and climate change — connecting campus learning to the largest questions facing the world.

Petting Zoo

The Gaudium is one of the very few schools in Hyderabad to have a Petting Zoo on campus. Students interact with and care for rabbits, ducks, goats, and other animals as a regular part of school life.

The educational value goes well beyond the obvious. Caring for animals develops responsibility, empathy, and an appreciation for the interdependence of living beings — values that are far easier to internalise through experience than through instruction. The Petting Zoo is integrated into the IB PYP transdisciplinary themes in Primary School and supports the Science Park programme across all year groups.

Adventure Campsite

The Adventure Campsite at The Gaudium is a full-fledged outdoor adventure space dedicated to building confidence, leadership, and resilience through physical challenge. Activities include:

These experiences develop a child’s capacity to take calculated risks, work in teams under pressure, and discover what they are capable of when comfort zones are stretched. Farming & Farmers’ Market

The Gaudium campus includes active farming land where students participate in growing food from seed to harvest. The school’s Farmers’ Market concept takes this further — students not only grow produce but learn to present, price, and sell it, developing an understanding of food systems, economics, and the value of practical work.

World-Class Labs & Studios

Science Laboratories

The Gaudium’s Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories are equipped with next-generation audio-visual teaching aids, subject-specific learning kits, and world-class apparatus.
