The CBSE’s mission is to facilitate learning for the physical, emotional, social and intellectual well-being of students. A pace-setting National Board of School Education in the country, the CBSE always aspires and endeavors to be a center of excellence for providing quality education by continuously working on the educational standards to meet the national and global needs. The Board focuses upon the following:

  • Enriching the curriculum to suitably respond to the contemporary and futuristic needs in the new world.
  • Innovations in teaching-learning methodologies by devising students friendly and students centred paradigms
  • Reforms in examinations and evaluation practices
  • Skill learning by adding job-oriented and job-linked inputs

CBSE curriculum is designed to achieve quality benchmarks in middle school (classes VI-X) and senior secondary (classes XI & XII) programmes consistent with the national goals and replete with innovative methods to achieve academic excellence in conformity with psychological, pedagogical and social principles. CBSE offers a standardized and structured curriculum which adapts to the changing demands of society and develops future ready learners. It believes in seeking pedagogic unity, creative adoption of changing technologies, constant capacity upgradation of teachers, integrating art and sports in education, environmental concerns, and imparting a cluster of futuristic skill sets that prepare a student to become a global citizen. At the Gaudium, we believe our mission closely aligns with the CBSE philosophy of ‘Value creating Education’ thus transforming our students into responsible global citizens. CBSE spans across a network of over 22030 affiliated schools, out of which 232 schools are located in 27 foreign countries.

Middle school

Provide a broad and balanced understanding of subjects including Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Science and Computer Science to enable students to communicate effectively, analyse information, make informed decisions. The focus lies on every child acquiring specific competencies at each level to prepare for higher education.

Subjects offered at the Gaudium for classes VI to VIII:

  • Languages 1 – English
  • L2- Hindi, Telugu, French and Spanish
  • L3 -Hindi, Telugu, French, Sanskrit and Spanish (Telugu is mandatory either as II or III lang as per State Govt directives)

Assessments

Assessments are conducted to provide diagnostic individual feedback to the students which provides a platform to evaluate and reflect on their learning journey. Regular formative assessments are a part of our classroom teaching which helps our teachers to modify their teaching strategies based on the requirements of the students.

Term end Assessments

  • Term 1: Periodic test 1, Periodic 2 and Term I Exam
  • Term 2: Periodic test 3, Periodic 4 and Term II Exam

Class X appears for two pre boards in the school thus preparing them for the CBSE Class X board examination.

High School (Class XI & XII)

The CBSE Senior Secondary programme is learner-centric with students acquiring various skills; building self-concept, sense of enterprise, aesthetic sensibilities and sportsmanship. Therefore, for the purpose of fostering core competencies in learners, this curriculum encompasses major learning areas, from scholastic and co-scholastic. The subject areas are broadly divided into electives and compulsory subjects.

At The Gaudium we believe in providing freedom for students to pursue his/her area of interest and aptitude by offering 21 academic and skill based subjects. Since the board does not mandate any streams, the learner is free to choose any combination of subjects at the senior secondary level.  Subjects offered at The Gaudium:

  • English,
  • Elective I -Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics,
  • Elective II -Accountancy, Business studies, Economics, Biotechnology
  • Elective III- Sociology, History, Home science, Computer science
