One of the best days of the year for the kids is Children’s Day which is celebrated on 14th November on the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. Children’s Day is celebrated on his birthday because of his endless love & affection for children.  The teachers of the Gaudium were too excited to make this day memorable for the children. They organized a small programme and different activities to cheer up the kids.

The children came decked up beautifully in The Gaudium colours i.e. blue, red and yellow . Their day started with a warm welcome where they were given chocolates. The Geckos were amazed to see the campus decorated with balloons and party poppers. The day began with a short speech on the importance of Children’s Day followed by a magic show which the children enjoyed thoroughly.

Moving on, few teachers performed a dance to entertain the children. The Geckos were thrilled to watch their teachers dancing and along with them they also started dancing which was a feast to watch. Later they were shown the movie ‘Crow, the Legend’. Food packets were distributed to children while they watched the movie. The whole show provided the geckos with a wonderful feast to memorialize the day .This day would really make into the memories of The Gaudium School.
