At Gaudium we give our Geckos the ownership of their campus and provide ample opportunity for the parents to be a part of their kids’ school events. Plantation Day was a very special event where Geckos did a proud presentation of their magic campus to their parents. Our campus is located away from the hustle & bustles with peace and quiet tucked in the outskirts of the city. With all these attributes we planned to make Gaudium green, eco- friendly and self sustaining for which we involved the entire Gaudium family in the plantation of trees at Kollur campus. The Principal spoke to the parents highlighting the architecture and landscape design like clean-green carpet surround space, scientifically sound infrastructure, safety and sustainability. Geckos welcomed parents with a song “it’s a small world after all”.Each of the 250 students gets a tree to name and plant on campus that will last for years to leave a memoir behind. Students accompanied their parents to water the plants and showed their decorated classroom and campus as proud owners to their guest parents. Parents were delighted to see the work of their kids and understood why and how their kids were enchanted ‘like the pied piper’ being transported to the world of magic. Because it’s in the air, so pure, so clean, green, fresh, and open and filled with love. When kids were asked the question “why do they like their campus” they replied “because it gets bigger and bigger, fun place, spacious, green, beautiful, it is pretty and we love it”.
