Rashtriya Parva: 69th Independence Day Celebration

“Independence Day is observed annually on the 15th of August as a national holiday commemorating the nation’s independence from British rule and declared itself as a free sovereign country. On this day every corner of India adorns herself with tricolors and parades”.

The entire Gaudium family celebrated the patriotic day by decorating the school, dressing up and having their face painted in tricolors. The event started with a parade receiving the Chief Guest Mr. C.N. Reddy who hoisted the flag. Geckos from PP1 to 7th grade enthusiastically sang the national anthem, recited the pledge and participated in special programs like singing the national songs (Vande Mataram, Sare Jahan Se Acha, Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon) and gave a dance performance on A.R Rahman’s song Vande Mataram). The guest of Honor Mr. C.N. Reddy and the Principal Mrs. Surapaneni gave a motivational speech to inspire the geckos on “Freedom”. The occasion concluded by distributing candies and soft drink to the kids.
