Independence day at The Gaudium was celebrated in a very patriotic way. Geckos gave speech on freedom fighters, the way independence day is celebrated at New Delhi and our responsibility towards our nation.Geckos delivered speeches in different languages and showcased their confidence of being a responsible citizens.Geckos of grade 6,7 and 8 performed three different patriotic songs. Geckos of grade 2 recited and spoke about their leaders.Chief Guest of the event, Mrs. Suffia Begum delivered a short speech on how independence days were celebrated earlier and now.She motivated the little geckos by saying we need to be respectful, caring and responsible towards our society and nation. She said “the more we give, the more we get “, in every respect.The event was then dispersed after Principal’s speech.
