A parent interactive session was held at the Gachibowli campus on 11 March 2017. It was conducted by the principal, Mrs. Hema Surapaneni as an initiative to involve parents in the learning of their child and make them understand how IB works. The power point presentation acquainted the parents with aspects of IB such as the five elements, the profiles and attitudes and the framework. The parents were also shown bubble planners and monthly planners to help them understand the inquiry cycle and the learning process. They were also given a glimpse of how teachers collaborate and plan an inquiry. The evaluation of the session was done through a game. Of the 80 plus participants consisted of parents whose wards are already a part of Gaudium and also parents of prospective students of Gaudium. It was a session that demanded active participation and hence was an attention grabber.
