‘The Science Fair’ by the grade 2 & 4 was conducted to encourage the students to change the world through scientific inquiry and problem solving. A science fair project is one of the best learning experiences a student can undertake .Geckos as a team designed different complex machines. Our society relies more on science every day, and science fairs was a great way for geckos to become more knowledgeable about how the world around them works. Each team came up with a model which reduced the work in some way or the other. They had a problem and they designed a complex model to solve it. Grade 4 geckos did it again, by reusing the scrap to make their models. This became an excellent example for active learning.
