We concluded Our unit of Inquiry ‘Shelter’ by assessing our students’ learning on different parameters. 3D models depicting different climatic regions; tropical region, mountain region, polar region and desert region were displayed in the classroom. The learners were asked to identify the climatic conditions shown, draw the type of house built in that particular area and further justify their choice by answering the questions asked during one to one interaction with the facilitators. There was active participation and enthusiasm throughout the process.

Learning Outcome: Children learnt about different types of houses and the local conditions. They learned about different animal shelters. They also learnt about the types of houses which are resistant to natural calamities.
