Cambridge as a curriculum, helps enhance the conceptual understanding and application skills of a child. They at every stage of learning conduct an evaluation designed to access these skills and help the child with a detailed diagnosis of his learning and comprehension.

One such critical stage for a student through the Cambridge Pathway is Grade 8, it’s a culmination stage of the Lower Secondary curricula and an entry point into the Upper secondary IGCSE exams. To make this informed choice and preparation for their forthcoming checkpoint examinations; we conducted a Parent Orientation Programme for our Grade 8 Geckos and Parents. This orientation was a run through of preparation for their Cambridge exams, informing the parents of the multiple practice tests and examination details of Checkpoint.

It was a forum for the parents to understand and get clarity about the Upper secondary IGCSE curriculum and the subject choices we are offering. We believe in giving the best to the child, we not only would prepare our geckos for their boards; but will also add an additional certification ICE which will help them get an edge over, when they apply for their higher education.

This orientation also served as a platform for the parents to ask questions to the Head of Cambridge South India division, Mr. Lalith Prasad in an open house session, who was more than willing to spend quality time with our geckos and parents and help them understand the choices and advantages of the curricula.

The session concluded with an address by our beloved Principal Mr. G. Prabhakar Reddy, who shared his experience and wisdom for the preparations and choices that will keep all options open for our geckos in the future as they step into their higher education.
