On the occasion of the “Theatrical Evening” at The Gaudium School, the students of Grade 1 presented a short play connected to the UN Sustainable Goal Number 3 – “Good health and well-being” which ensures healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages.  Through their performance, the students aimed to raise awareness about various factors that contribute to good health, such as nutrition, exercise, and mental health. They showcased the importance of taking care of oneself and others.

The play was set in a village, and the main character was a child who was struggling with his health after moving to the city. He was feeling tired and unwell due to the changes in his lifestyle which was noticed by his friends. The play focused on the journey of the child and his friends as they learned about different ways to promote good health and well-being.

Throughout the performance, the students used creative props and costumes to enhance their storytelling. Their performance was a huge success. They were able to effectively convey the message of promoting good health and well-being to the audience, which included parents, teachers, and fellow students. The play was not only entertaining, but it also served as a powerful tool for raising awareness about the UN SDG goal.

The performance provided a valuable opportunity for the students to develop their creative thinking, social, and communication skills. By incorporating the UN SDGs into the classroom in creative ways, the students were not only inspired but also empowered to be future-ready and become global citizens.
