Don’t watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going. – Sam Levenson

The Gaudium family felicitated a warm welcome to 2021 with a beautifully crafted assembly on 4th January 2021. The young Geckos of the Cambridge International wing left no stones unturned in the school assembly to spread an aura of new possibilities and promises.

The Assembly began on a positive note with Dhriti Reddy’s melodious rendition of the School Song. The encouraging words of our charismatic Principal, Ms. Shalini Hamilton further illuminated the spirit of a splendid New Year. The motto of raising the bar and striving for a better tomorrow was the essence of the assembly. The uplifting words of wisdom by the Coordinator, Ms. Sunita Indukuri and the Associate Coordinator Ms. Ratna Das asserted the idea that with utmost determination and confidence anyone can be a winner. Their words truly boosted everyone’s spirits.

The presentation by the STEM team was yet another moment of pride and joy. The 10-minute video rooted the audience to their seats with its display of innovative fusion of Technology and creativity. It exhibited how technology can lead to improved student learning and better teaching methods.

However, the showstoppers of the assembly were the young leaders of Gaudium- the prefects of CAIE. They displayed unparalleled wisdom by stating how 2020 had been a year of evolution and metamorphosis.  The prefects of Grades 6-9 proved it again that they are the impeccable leaders capable of shouldering any responsibility the future may load them with.

The assembly hosted by Palash Rameja of Grade 6B concluded on a positive note by instilling in the community hope for a brighter and better beginning.
