Student Led Conference, is an opportunity for parents to observe and evaluate their children’s learning.This event encouraged all PP geckos to accept personal responsibility for their academic performance. It taught the students the process of self evaluation and reflection. Student Led Conference increased the accountability for their own learning, increased confidence and independence. The geckos have reflected critically on their learning by making their parents exposed to classroom resources and engaged them by sharing all that they have learnt and acquired hands on experience. There were stations placed in every classroom with ‘to do’ activities for students. The geckos interacted and explained the procedures and concepts which amazed the parents and facilitators too. They were clear in speech and very proficient in their language. The geckos successfully demonstrated their learning and enjoyed performing it.
