An excellent opportunity and yet another achievement for The Gaudium School Kollur, to become the authorised center for conducting PSAT, AP, and SAT examinations from July 2020 onwards. The first batch of SAT examinations post the pandemic was conducted on the premises on Saturday, 13th March 2021. This marked the start of a long-term relationship between The Gaudium and the College Board who organise these examinations.
College Board is an American not-for-profit organisation with the aim of expanding access to higher education, running a membership association of schools, colleges, universities and educational organisations who also develops and administers standardised tests for the college admission process.
SAT is a standardized test that is widely used for under graduation college admissions in the United States and few universities across the world. It is also known for its significance in scholarship and endowment criteria. The examination tests the candidates mainly on English and Maths subjects along with general knowledge.
The Gaudium school’s Kollur campus was well equipped and prepared to host the applicants strictly following all the COVID-19 protocols resulting in appreciation and satisfaction not only from the students but also from the College Board authorities.
