The geckos of grade 3 C conducted the PYP assembly on Friday, 1st November 2019. Akshadhar Reddy conducted the assembly, which started with the school prayer song- “Where the mind is without fear”. The thought for the day was presented by Dhruv Geetesh- “Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny”. The local, international and sports news were shared by Avani Manthena, Abhiveer Singh and Kaustubharnav Reddy respectively.

The students presented a skit on “Natural Disasters”. They shared ways people suffer due to these natural calamities, the reasons for natural disasters and ways to prevent them. They concluded by stating that human beings are responsible for some disasters and they can make a little difference by preventing them. Sarahi Vishnukanth and Sanskriti Chauhan shared some amazing facts about Earth and its atmosphere.

The assembly concluded by Ms. Shraddha Iyer, CIE Coordinator, sharing some information about ‘Farmer’s Market”. She conveyed the purpose of Farmer’s Market and how students can contribute towards it. She also shared ways we can show their responsibilities towards such school events.
