Being the current unit of inquiry “Animals” the Geckos are inquiring about different types of animals around them. To enhance their understanding on taking care of pet animals,Nursery geckos invited a rabbit from Gaudium petting zoo and celebrated its birthday. Geckos made the rabbit wear birthday cap and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ song. They fed the rabbit with cabbage and carrots.Learners also danced to the tune of ’Bum Bum Bole’ with the rabbit. Geckos shared the snacks brought by them along with their friends and had a lot of fun.The Geckos enjoyed the ’Pet Party’ a lot and depicted a lot of empathy and care towards the rabbit. The learners also reflected their views about different pet animals.
