Geckos always wait for field trips very eagerly as they come as a chance of practical learning or hands on experience with the real life applications. Integrating with our UOI topic – natural resources, Geckos were taken to a workshop where they observed many machines of recycling. They were inquiring the things which can be or should be recycled to maintain the balance of our enviorment. They were shown the recycling of plastic. Different machines involved in the process such as dryer, grinder, agglomotor, cooling tank etc. They were shown a ppt also showing the whole process of recycling the plastic bags we use. They enjoyed a lot as they were given a very close look of the whole process. They also saw different machines used to cut, drill and changing metal pieces into the items which can be used in daily life.
