Objective: To celebrate the National mathematician Day in recognition of the contributions made by Srinivasa Ramanujan in Math.   

Srinivasa Ramanujan, one of the greatest minds of his time, continues to make our nation proud with his contributions to field of Mathematics even after nearly a century of his demise. Thus, 22 December, his birth anniversary, is celebrated as Math day, honouring the great mind and his contributions. At Gaudium, it was celebrated with various events spread throughout the day catering to different age-groups. The first part of the day saw the geckos solving puzzles, some of which were purely Mathematical while others delved into applied Math where apart from Mathematical skills, the students had to relate them with real life and logical thinking. This was followed by a quiz which involved a lot of mental math with a generous sprinkling of rebus questions and math pun. The event concluded with a documentary about the great Mathematician giving the students an opportunity to ask a lot more questions about him and his contributions.
