Introduction to Interact Club: Interact is a service club for youth ages 12 to 18 who want to connect with other young people and have fun while serving their communities and learning about the world. Clubs, which meet at least twice a month, are sponsored by local Rotary clubs. Interact club organize two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Members of sponsor Rotary clubs mentor Interactors as they carry out the projects and develop leadership skills.
Interact club Objective:
- Interact clubs bring together young people of 12 to 18 year of age to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service above self.
- Make creative actions while working on innovative ideas.

- Connect with leaders in the community and around the world
- Take action to make a difference in the school or community
- Discover new cultures and promote international understanding
- Become leaders in the school or community
With the above information, we have taken forward the installation of Interact club @gaudium. The core team consisting of Mr Shanmugam, Ms Upama who has been nominated as the club advisor, Ms Vijeta and Ms Mythili who will be the core committee members. A detailed introductory session was organized for all the students from Grade 8 to Grade 11 to know the Interact club details, functionality, benefits & outcomes. This was followed by election process and the final list has been submitted to Rotary International for further perusal.
The installation ceremony for club members has been finalized for October 19th 2019.
