Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September to pay tribute to the official language of India as Hindi was adopted as the official language of Constituent assembly on September 14, 1949. Language and culture of any country plays an important role in connecting people. Students of Grade 1 to 5 and teachers celebrated this significant day to mark the importance of the country’s most widely spoken language. Students watched a video compilation prepared by our Hindi teachers. The presentation included sharing of the significance of Hindi Diwas and a series of performances through poem recitation, story narration, riddles, and songs in Hindi language. Students were given different topics to make a choice and communicate in Hindi language through a poem, song, story, or riddles related, either verbally or in writing. Students enjoyed greeting their peers and teachers in Hindi and celebrated this day with enthusiasm.
