Grandparents are the important members of the family who brings values and culture in their grand children. Grandparents day was celebrated on 20th August 2016 at Kollur campus. The campus was beautifully decorated to welcome grandparents.The little geckos presented their cultural skills in front of their grandparents. They sang melodious songs and recited poem dedicated to all grandparents. Playgroup geckos along with their home room teachers and grandparents tapped their feet on songs.Different exciting games were also planned for grandparents where they participated and refreshed their childhood memories. Many grandparents were enthusiastic to participated and show their physical fitness. Geckos joined with their grandparents in one of the game and pairing up of grandchild with grandparents showed a real team spirit. At the end of the event, beloved principal, Mrs. Hema, delivered a very emotional speech.Grandparents danced with their grandchildren on different songs. It was good to notice that few grandparents flew from different cities of the country to just attend this event. Geckos prepared a beautiful card for their grandparents to welcome. The event brought bonding , love and eternal care towards the members of the family.
