Geckos of grade 4 and 5 learned photography skills as a part of DIY.They enthusiastically indulged in photography activity during the field trip at Nehru Zoological Park. Mrs. Pooja briefed them about the history of camera, skills and functions of camera, different components and elements while capturing images and importance of light. It was interesting to notice that geckos were keen on learning photography skills as they all had cameras and different gadgets with which they can click pictures at their place. They all were very curious and excited when they got hands on experience to handle school camera and click as many as pictures they want of different animals at Zoo. Keeping in mind the basic techniques of photography skills, geckos were able to hold camera use proper functions and make decisions on what they want to click. Geckos enhanced their “creativity” and visualize things around them in a more colourful, positive and interesting way.
