As a part of the process to understand and enhance the learning process of geckos, Gaudium organised a benchmarking diagnostic test called ASSET on 16’December’19. ASSET is a skill based test that measures student’s conceptual understanding, benchmarks school’s performance at an international, national & regional level with actionable insights through easy-to-understand reports. It helps students identify their strengths and weaknesses. In other words, they get to know which concepts they are good at and which concepts they need to work on. Teachers get to know the strengths, weakness and learning gaps of their students.
In order to prepare students for this test, teachers took practice classes in which students got practice of writing in OMR sheets and tried a few sample questions. It was a one hour test which students felt was both challenging and interesting. Around 250 students participated in this test. The results are awaited.
