Gaudium emphasises on creating a platform for  continuous professional development for teachers . This is with the objective to prepare them to cater to the needs of 21st century Geckos who are the learners who constantly require innovative skills and knowledge .

Our teachers undergo subject related to self development workshops which builds in them the quest to remain lifelong learners.

Science teachers of  Gaudium attended a hands on workshop on” Learning with LEGO Education” conducted by Edutech India Pvt.Ltd in Chennai.

Edutech conducted the 2 day workshop on LEGO Education robotics for teachers. The teachers were given a hands-on training on real world engineering challenges, and design and evaluated innovative robotic solutions for real life problems. The session also included programming and data logging with a range of sensors, and controlling the variables of motors to make accurate measurements, assures relevance to the National Curriculum for middle school students.

The hands-on learning approach is about providing students with opportunities to experiment with their surroundings as a form of problem solving through coding. It is about creativity and collaboration, motivation and self-direction. It is about improvisation and discovery, and playful learning experiences with real-world relevance.

The unique combination of building with the familiar LEGO bricks, using easy-to-use coding software and engaging curriculum relevant STEM challenges, makes coding fun and relevant for elementary and middle school students. Basically, everything you need to help every student to succeed at STEM through coding.
