To introduce various colours to our young geckos we celebrate one colour every month. Green is the colour of balance and harmony. Blue represents both the sky and the sea, and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, expansiveness, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, heaven, and intelligence.
The colour blue has positive effects on the mind and the body. As the colour of the spirit, it invokes rest and can cause the body to produce chemicals that are calming and exude feelings of tranquillity. Blue is a cooling colour found in nature, it helps balance and self-expression.
Pre Primary geckos and entire Gaudium staff was dressed in Blue on Blue Day. The day started with assembly where all PP geckos recited poem on colour Blue. They identified different shades of Blue colour in the school campus. All the Geckos had brought blue colour objects from their house to participate in show and tell activity and were very excited and enthusiastic to express their feelings about that object. It was a fun filled day where they not only enjoyed but also got to know what Blue represents.
