Parents and teachers play a pivotal role in shaping children’s future. Teaching children to accept what they have will help them to feel more appreciative when they eventually have what they want. Teach the children to look around what’s in front of them that they can enjoy. As parents we tend to get everything what the child demands forgetting the fact that children will still be subject to life’s highs and lows at one point. If they haven’t learned to enjoy the little things, their well-being will parallel their life’s circumstances. Every time something goes wrong, they feel deeply unhappy. Parents and teachers should work towards child thinking about the process and method to achieve a goal.

No matter what you say to a child, it’s important to think before you speak. Understand that children are naturally curious and active, and speaking to them candidly about any problems or questions they may have is always your best bet. Teach kids to think that every day is a new opportunity to be better than yesterday; that pursuit can increase self-esteem and, accordingly, ones happiness. Child should understand that by focusing on small improvements and mini-goals, they will naturally move themselves towards larger dream.
