The Gaudium School celebrated International Mindfulness Day with great enthusiasm! Our young PYP students, from Grades 1 to 5, delved into a day of introspection, creativity, and self-awareness.

The day began with Grades 1 and 2 immersing themselves in the art of College Making, while Grade 3 unleashed their artistic flair in Poster Making. Grades 4 and 5, on the other hand, explored the intricate world of Mandala Art. These activities weren’t just about creativity, they were about nurturing mindfulness.

Through these artistic endeavors, our students not only honed their creative skills but also discovered the incredible power of mindfulness. The activities allowed them to focus on the present moment, fostering inner peace and self-awareness.

Alongside these artistic pursuits, our teachers engaged in meaningful discussions with the students, emphasizing the values and benefits of mindfulness in our daily lives.

The activity perfectly aligns with The Gaudium School’s core pillar of Mindfulness and Well-being. It was designed to help our students understand the importance of mindfulness, providing them with practical tools to enhance their overall well-being.

As a takeaway from this remarkable day, our students now carry with them the wisdom of mindfulness. They’ve learned that by staying present, they can navigate life’s challenges with calm and resilience.

At The Gaudium School, we believe that nurturing the minds and souls of our students is as important as academic excellence. International Mindfulness Day reaffirmed our commitment to our pillars, reminding us that mindfulness is the key to a harmonious and balanced life.
