It was a fun-filled day for our tiny geckos as they celebrated ‘Blue Colour Day’ on 3rd September 2019. Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence and truth. Facilitators shared the importance and significance of blue colour during circle time. Blue is also considered beneficial to the mind and body which was exhibited through mindfulness session in which geckos did meditation and some breathing exercises. Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. Our tiny tots and the facilitators wore different shades and hues of blue.
Geckos also enjoyed watching the Panchatantra story “The Blue Jackal “through which they showcased their emotions like happy, sad, angry, scared and surprised. The geckos also got to know the meaning of blue colour in The Gaudium flag which means “Freedom To learn”.
