Nursery  are inquiring into the topic Animals. As a part of their inquiry facilitators set up a jungle and the geckos came dressed up as their favourite animal and enacted the same. They also spoke about that animal in detail like their habitat, food and their specific traits.

Using this form of theatre help the geckos explore how theatre is the art of telling stories through live acting. They learnt to work together, build trust, and also involved every member in the performance.

Geckos understood how being present, listening and reacting are an important part of being an actor. Geckos understood the importance of articulation, projection and voice variation.

Our little geckos enjoyed enacting their favourite animal and were very excited to be a part of the jungle with their peers.
