TGS MUN 2025 unfolded as an inspiring platform where young leaders came together to deliberate, debate, and discover solutions to some of the most pressing global challenges of our time. Model United Nations conferences like TGS MUN represent far more than academic exercises; they serve as transformative experiences that prepare students for real-world leadership. In an increasingly interconnected world, these events provide students with invaluable exposure to international relations, diplomatic processes, and complex global issues that they will inevitably encounter as future leaders, professionals, and global citizens. The skills developed through MUN participation—critical thinking, public speaking, negotiation, and cultural sensitivity—are precisely those demanded in today’s competitive professional landscape, making these conferences essential stepping stones toward meaningful careers in diplomacy, international business, law, and public service.
We had the honor of welcoming our distinguished Keynote Speaker, Ms. Mamta Sharma (Retd. International Civil Servant), a true trailblazer who served with the Indian Police Service and the United Nations in some of the world’s most challenging environments. Her words of wisdom set the tone for a conference built on courage, collaboration, and conviction. We were also privileged by the presence of our guiding light CEO RK Sir and our ever-inspiring Head of School, Ms. Sudeshna Ma’am, who motivated the delegates with their vision and encouragement. The presence of such distinguished personalities underscores the real-world relevance of MUN experiences, as students receive guidance from professionals who have actually navigated the complex corridors of international diplomacy and governance. This direct connection between simulation and reality helps students understand that their debates and resolutions mirror actual diplomatic processes, inspiring them to take their roles seriously and develop genuine passion for global affairs.

Over two days, our young delegates stepped into the shoes of real diplomats: navigating global issues, debating policies, and finding common ground. They embodied the spirit of cooperation, proving that youth voices have the power to shape a better world. This immersive experience develops crucial leadership competencies that extend far beyond the conference room. Students learn to research complex topics thoroughly, articulate their positions persuasively, listen actively to opposing viewpoints, and craft compromises that serve the greater good. These are precisely the collaborative leadership skills that modern organizations desperately need—the ability to work across cultural and ideological boundaries, to find creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems, and to maintain composure under pressure. MUN participants frequently report that these experiences boost their confidence in public speaking, enhance their analytical thinking abilities, and broaden their global perspective, preparing them to become effective leaders in whatever field they choose to pursue.
The Closing Ceremony was a grand celebration, featuring:

TGS MUN 2025 was more than just a conference. It was a platform for learning, leadership, and global citizenship. The long-term impact of such experiences cannot be overstated—participants carry forward enhanced emotional intelligence, cross-cultural communication skills, and a deep understanding of global interconnectedness. These young leaders develop the confidence to engage with complex international issues, the empathy to understand diverse perspectives, and the conviction to work toward positive change. Together, we celebrated the belief that beyond borders, it is dialogue, culture, and understanding that connect us all. Here’s to our young leaders, who will continue to break barriers, build bridges, and lead with empathy into the future, armed with the invaluable skills and perspectives gained through their MUN experience.
