The Gaudium School made history by hosting the second edition of GymQuinn, a prestigious national-level gymnastics festival, on July 5th and 6th, 2025. This remarkable two-day event brought together over 850 talented young athletes representing 15 states across India, transforming the school campus into a vibrant epicenter of athletic excellence and interstate camaraderie. The championship stood as a testament to the growing importance of physical education in schools, particularly gymnastics, which develops not only physical strength and coordination but also essential life skills like discipline, focus, and resilience.
The event commenced with grandeur as three distinguished personalities inaugurated the championship. Padma Bhushan awardee and renowned badminton coach Pullela Gopichand led the ceremony, joined by Colonel Kamlesh Mishra, a senior Indian Army officer and youth mentor, and Sirisha Raghavendra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad. Gopichand praised the initiative, stating that The Gaudium School was “setting new benchmarks not only in education but also in nurturing India’s sporting future.” Founder and Director Kirthi Reddy emphasized that GymQuinn represented more than competition—it was a movement providing young athletes a platform to express their individuality, strength, and sportsmanship.
The two-day championship featured an impressive array of gymnastics disciplines, including rhythmic and artistic gymnastics, dance gymnastics, floor routines, apparatus showcases, and creative acrobatics. Each performance showcased the dedication and countless hours of practice invested by both athletes and their coaches. The competitions reached their crescendo on Day Two with thrilling final rounds across various categories, culminating in a grand closing ceremony where winners were celebrated and every participant received recognition for their exceptional efforts.
The medal standings reflected the extraordinary talent on display throughout the event. The Gaudium School emerged as the overall champion with a stunning tally of 431 medals—113 Gold, 150 Silver, and 168 Bronze.
