There’s no shortage of research indicating the benefits of museum visits for children. The beautiful artifacts, sculptures and antiquities in the museum, provided them memorable, immersive learning experiences, provoked imagination, introduced unknown worlds and subject matter, and offered unique environments for quality time with their peers. They were also acquainted with the Jain, Buddhist and Mughal culture through the wonderful display of age old stone sculptures, paintings and and relics of that age.  Museums offer a dynamic opportunity to expose children to experiences and explore new things in a rich and educational environment. Geckos interviewed tourists as well to know their opinion on the artifacts of the museum. Geckos became more enthusiastic towards it when they saw the Egyptian Mummy which is one of the six mummy’s  preserved in the museums all over India. Through this interactive exhibition and hands-on play, children had the ability to take ownership of their own learning and developed and explored their own curiosities.

It gave them an experience like nothing else can, a chance to connect, understand, and explore perceptions, feelings, and innovative thoughts. It provided a space for reflection, experimentation, inspiration, creativity, enjoyment and allow for authentic learning experiences and play. Bringing children to the museum revealed them  being equally active in learning, putting them on equal standing as they create a shared understanding.

This kind of exposure helped them develop higher critical and creative thinking skills, which are integral to future success.
