At ‘The Gaudium School’, we believe that young minds flourish better in an environment that is green and eco- friendly. Keeping the aim in mind and walking hand in hand with  the CBSE proposals, the school celebrated “Prakriti Mahotsav” in the month of August 2018. As a part of the celebration the school added eleven saplings to its lush green campus of 27 Acres. This was clubbed with the Independence Day Celebration Week whereby each sapling was given a name of a martyr. The geckos paid homage to their favorite martyr by planting the sapling and naming it with his or her name.

The event not helped to our young minds know more about our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country but also will help them to connect better to the sapling planted by them and thereby protecting the nature.

Learning Objective: To connect with nature and to the motherland by planting trees.
