The Gaudium school, believes in quality education and provide students and parents the maximum options. With this goal IB PYP Programme was authorised in April. 2018 and we are in process of getting IB Diploma Programme authorised for grade 11 and 12.
The IB Diploma Programme is designed as an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepare students, normally aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. The programme is taught over two years and has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities. In the years since its founding, the Diploma Programme has become a leading, internationally recognized pre-university qualification. Now it is a symbol of academic excellence worldwide. The student who satisfies its demands demonstrates a strong commitment to learning, both in terms of the mastery of subject content and in the development of wide-ranging skills. Students are also encouraged to appreciate the universal value of human diversity and its legitimate boundaries, while at the same time understanding the common humanity that we all share.
In order to offer International Baccalaureate, schools must complete an authorization process. We are in process of completing candidate phase and moving towards final authorization.
We had our Diploma Programme consultation visit on 27th and 28th of August 2018. Mr. Ian Davies, IB Consultant visited our school to check, advise and report on readiness of IB Diploma Programme at The Gaudium. He visited our school campus, interacted with leadership team and DP faculty. He has provided us his feedback and has confirmed that our school is ready to move to next level of DP authorization. Our school will submit its Application for authorization next month.
