Learning Outcome: To encourage geckos to celebrate eco friendly holi and share their happiness with their friends.
Holi, the celebration of the victory of good over evil with the vibrancy of colours also comes as a reminder that there is no difference between humans that cannot be equalised by a layer of colours. To inculcate this spirit of equality we celebrated Holi on 1 March, and spreading the joy of colours with our geckos and staff.
Nursery and PP geckos came dressed in traditional attire, carrying a sweet to share the joy. Geckos shared their happiness by applying Turmeric on each other and teachers. They were excited to dance to the foot tapping music. The facilitators explained geckos the importance of the festival and how we can celebrate dry holi to save water.
